I really don't think that the tcptraceroute wrapper in traceroute should be setuid root. Given that tcptraceroute has the higher alternative, /usr/sbin/tcptraceroute is always going to point to tcptraceroute, not traceroute, unless the user specifically whishes to do so. Therefore, i think gnome-nettool should be updated to reflect that, either by having a depends only to tcptraceroute, or, to prefere tcptraceroute.mt over tcptraceroute.
