I've had the Xserver crash a few times of late, and every time all open compositions in kmail are lost (the MySQL log is bad). Last night, the power went out here. To be safe, I got to a root shell and did shutdown -h now This too caused kmail to lose all open compositions. Same apparent problem (bad MySQL log).
