Running file(1) against an avr32 ELF object prints the following: ELF 32-bit MSB shared object, version 1 (SYSV), dynamically linked (uses shared libs), for GNU/Linux 2.6.18, stripped However, that's not enough information to distinguish avr32 objects from those of other architectures sharing the same characteristics (32bits and MSB.)
