and you can keep working with it as long as it still works for you. the package was removed from Debian since ~3 months, so I closed his bugs, since no-one will look at them (else the package would have been still in Debian) > What is the replacement and upgrade path? even no-one? or you can use some other alternatives: launch "apt-cache search $keywords" where $k can be something like "debian package proxy" (i found apt-cacher, but I don't use it so I don't know if to suggest it or not).
