Sorry for so many small bugs,... but I found the issues while reading ;) The site http://www.linuxbase.org/ links to does not give any link, where the standards can be found actually,.. or am I just blind? If this is true, please include: http://refspecs.freestandards.org/lsb.shtml in the manpage :) Or is there a package whith the lsb standard (e.g. lsb-doc)? Would you consider to make one? e.g. packages like lsb-3.1-doc, lsb-4.0-doc and lsb-doc depends always on the -doc package for the current version of the lsb.
