Thanks for pointing this out. Ext4 has always supported on-line
resize, but when the man page was updated to add "and ext4" in the
first sentence, I failed to update the later sentence regarding online
resizing. I've checked in the simple and obvious fix. It will be in
the next release of e2fsprogs.
