For your information, when I actually assign an IP manually to the client config (and use ipcp-accept-remote), then the connection works fine. Here's my ppp option file: # /etc/ppp/options ms-dns 172.56.252.1 asyncmap 0 auth crtscts lock hide-password modem debug name xl2tpd proxyarp lcp-echo-interval 30 lcp-echo-failure 4 ipcp-accept-local ipcp-accept-remote noipx Hope this helps.
