Thank you for your bug report. Like the last time, Arte modified its streaming system (hopefully it was the last part of the transition). So the plugin is broken *again* since more than two weeks.
This time we did not found any workaround (eg: last time we found an hidden access to the "old" streaming server which provided mms:// links which can be played in Totem) But it does not mean this is hopeless! Now Arte provide official mms:// links (so it's good) but these do not work yet. They are here since more than two weeks and no one works. Be sure that a fix will come soon after Arte fixes them. In the "long" run (2-3 weeks?), the next GStreamer-plugins-bad release will have rtmp support, so then we will be able to play every streams from Arte without problem. Just hope it will be ok for it to go into squeeze, otherwise it will stay in experimental for a while... Regards, Nicolas
