Package: cdebootstrap
Version: 0.5.6
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I often build JFFS2 images from cdebootstrap output, and there is a
slight problem with APT being unable to create its cache on jffs2 due to
missing mmap().

Would it make sense to have an option that installs an APT configuration
fragment diverting pkgcache.bin to /tmp and makes sure /tmp is on a
tmpfs before apt is first invoked?

   Simon
