Hey, I just read these both bugreports (which should be merged), and I'm having the same problem. As mentioned in #315139, one can remove this warning by setting expert mode in the reportbug config file. At the very least, this should be mentioned in the prompt presented. Furthermore, I'm not sure just setting expert mode is really the solution, IMHO a seperate option dont_warn_about_vim or something like that would be more appropriate.
