Hey, I just realized that I have explicitely set $EDITOR to "vim", which should be enough to conclude that I do not have any problems with using vim as an editor.
Furthermore, it seems that warning about vim and not about other editors with a steep learning curve is warranted, since you only get vim on a newly installed system I think?
