I'm maintaining pstoedit which depends on libplot from plotutils. The Debian bug #506086 should be fixed according to the pstoedit upstream maintainer by latest libplot 2.6. Therefore, I'm filing this bug as normal, not just wishlist. If you don't have the time for uploading the update, I can also do it if you want. Just give a short note.
