Please consider updating python-shapely to last upstream version (1.2.2). Latest tarball is here: http://gispython.org/dist/Shapely-1.2.2.tar.gz I updated a tentative package to mentors.debian.net: http://mentors.debian.net/debian/pool/main/p/python-shapely/python-shapely_1.2.2-1.dsc Note that I just copied the debian directory from version 1.2.1, bumped standards to 3.9.0 and ran it throught pbuilder.
