Ahm, yes. I was confused by screem since I did not recognize that it is
a Debian package. I assumed you refer to a misspelled word similar to
"wrong" or "bogus" :-)

Even the new 1.2.4-1 version is not yet in Debian unstable. I checked
ftp.debian.org and the above mentioned page (which contains at least
the "[2005-08-14] Accepted 1.2.4-1 in unstable (low) (Rob Bradford)"
message). Maybe I should be more patient ...

OK, I attached a patch against 1.2.4 from upstream which contain a few
more issues. Nevertheless I noticed that the translation is in a bad
shape and contains many fuzzy messages.
I first tried to update it but I'm too lazy for this large file,
it requires additional testing (e.g. the shortcuts should be unique) and
since 1.4.x is abandoned it's not very useful.
Maybe I will use this project for testing, ...
