Hi,
Well, I discovered where the discrepancy in mm-view.el is
coming from. It dates back to a patch from late last year, where the
5.10 version was patched with fixes from the then CVS HEAD; and this
patch was never reverted; even though mm-view has changed in CVS
since then.
