Package: python2.6-minimal
Version: 2.6.5+20100706-1
Severity: normal

Related to #568195 & #587606.

The following output from those bugs is well-known:

Selecting previously deselected package python2.6-minimal.
Unpacking python2.6-minimal (from
.../python2.6-minimal_2.6.5+20100730-1_amd64.deb) ...
new installation of python2.6-minimal; /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages is a
directory
which is expected a symlink to /usr/local/lib/python2.6/dist-packages.
please find the package shipping files in /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages and
file a bug report to ship these in /usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages instead
aborting installation of python2.6-minimal

...but after installing python2.6-minimal in a chroot,
/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages does not exist, not even as symlink.
Shouldn't this link be created when python is installed?
