I changed the priority of pcscd from extra to optional since pcscd now Depends: on libpcsclite1 (which is optional) instead of just Recommends: as it was the case if previous versions of the package. I made the change to fix #591151 "libpcsclite1: depends on pcscd which is priority: extra" and to comply with Debian policy ch 2.5 Priorities "Packages must not depend on packages with lower priority values (excluding build-time dependencies)."
