Whenh modifying texconfig as suggested the following code will be
executed:
setupTmpDir
echo "$progname: analyzing old configuration..." >&2
fmtutil --catcfg > $tmpdir/pre
fmtutil --edit
<snip>
That "fmtutil --edit" calls debianEditWarnAndShow, which is defined
in debianize-fmtutil.
So all you have to do is to delete the actual output text, as
suggested.
