No but so far I have been around very few point releases has been published
from the point when the next is frozen. I may be mistaken though.

This one is correction of something that worked.

Same here.

Interesting.

It is not up to me to decide. I can not include anything in squeeze. I can
only suggest to the release team. From what I read on
http://release.debian.org/ chapter "Suite update policy" and then under
stable I read:

"Fast response for security updates. Minor updates include security and
other important fixes only. ..."

The only solution I see is that this fix can be considered as "important"
from a release point of view. The question is then? Do IPv6 support work
fully after this? From what I remember there were quite a few other
corrections to the IPv6 support both in 3.0.23 and 3.0.24.

I do not say that I refuse, what I say is that I think this update is
hard to get through, and I need a really strong case to succeed. It needs
to be a really important correction, with no side-effects, well tested
and a solution to a problem that is evidently a problem. I know that
IPv6 support do not work well in squeeze for vzctl but there are to my
knowledge more problems than this, or?

// Ola
