Hello,
Please consider updating the override, or tell me if I am wrong.
k3d-data_0.8.0.2-3_all.deb: package says priority is extra,
override says optional.
k3d_0.8.0.2-3_i386.deb: package says priority is extra,
override says optional.
The policy manual says:
http://www.debian.org/doc/debian-policy/ch-archive.html#s-priorities
"(In a sense everything that isn't required is optional, but that's not what
is meant here.) [Optional is] all the software that you might reasonably
want to install if you didn't know what it was and don't have specialized
requirements. This is a much larger system and includes the X Window System,
a full TeX distribution, and many applications."
I think that this is not the case, the software is for 3D modelling (akin to
Blender, but much less popular), and thus it's not a software that anybody
might want to have installed just in case.
Additionally debcheck reports that it depends on software with "extra"
priority in lenny (libxcb-render-util0), which should not happen.
Cheers.
