Package: file
Version: 5.04-5
Severity: normal

Consider a file containing only the line:

C = M + 1

"file" says that it is a FORTRAN program. The major problem is that,
on more complex files with such a line, the charset isn't given,
preventing automatic charset conversion based on "file" output.
