Agreed. What I'll do is make login/password optional in ~/.feed2imaprc. If the login or password is not specified, it will look for it in .netrc and (maybe) .authinfo and others.
Also, feed2imap will check .feed2imaprc's mode and issue a warning if it is world-readable.
