One of our debian users has troubles with using espeak on his machine, getting wave_open_sound > Pa_OpenStream : err=-9996 (Invalid device) errors. The whole story can be read on http://bugs.debian.org/591717 It seems to me like it might be something like an unavailable bitrate or something like this, what do you think? How should we debug this?
