Package: emacs23-el
Version: 23.2+1-4
Severity: wishlist
File: /usr/share/emacs/23.2/lisp/international/mule-cmds.el.gz

The completion list used by `read-char-by-name' doesn't seem to be
cached across different invocations. Building the list is rather slow,
so I'd prefer if that list would only be built once, when I try to
complete in a `read-char-by-name' prompt for the first time.

Thanks for considering.
