Under "Source:" I find only the name of the drive mounted under /media
("XP"); under "Show:" I find Media, Images, etc., various media types.

I'm just trying it on another computer, also updated to testing two
days, and the same phenomenon there, with the exception, that the import
dialog offers no sources at all: no mounted drives, and definitiely not
the Canon PowerShot A80, which I've used together with this laptop and
gthumb since 2005.
