Package: debmirror Severity: wishlist I assume this package will have a new maintainer eventually.
Perhaps that maintainer will decide to put it in a git repo. If so, that would be a good opporunity to merge in debmirror's original history, from before it was a Debian package, from my own git repo. It includes the initial history starting out as a short shell script. The repo is git://git.kitenet.net/joey/home . It would need some filtering (pulling out files matching *debmirror*), since it also contains other random bits of my home directory. (My personal interest tonight was where debmirror's message "Parse Packages and Sources files and add to the file list everything therein" came from. It turns out this message was originally a comment. (And IMHO, should have stayed a comment.. "therein"? Really?)) -- see shy jo
