Furthermore, please consider raising the priority of this bug to serious or grave, since it makes the package completely unusable to work with multi-valued fields like address or organisation. More importantly, using the application as it is now will corrupt existing data in an evolution address book, which someone might not even notice right away. I really think the current version of contacts shouldn't get into squeeze, so please consider backporting this patch or making a new upstream release and including that. Gr. Matthijs
