Installing kstars data like Tycho-2 catalog copies it into user's home directory, thus wasting space if there are several users. It would be better that installation were carried directly in a system directory like the /usr/share hierarchy and then catalogs being just enabled/disabled from user interface. There is no point at all in having these files replicated in all users' home directories, and in making all users independently download them.
