Actualy, it's prerm that fails, sorry for the confusion:

Removing binfmt-support ...
Disabling additional executable binary formats: Sorry, update-binfmts currently 
only works on Linux.
invoke-rc.d: initscript binfmt-support, action "stop" failed.
dpkg: error processing binfmt-support (--purge):
 subprocess pre-removal script returned error exit status 2
