Unfortunately it's not a oneline fix.

OK, declaring an interface as internal using debconf seems to work as
expected (ipv6 traffic is allowed on that interface). However,
reconfiguring the package to declare it external again (and restarting
the firewall) has no effect, because the old ipv6 rules are still
there...
