Package: bugs.debian.org Severity: minor Here's the scenario: I subscribed to bugs #323369 and #323282, both merged with each other and assigned to the udev package. Those bugs get closed with the following line in udev 0.68-1's changelog:
+ PROGRAM. (Closes: #321276, #323263, #323282, #323369)
Now, I received 4 nearly-identical bug closure e-mails for both bugs I
was subscribed to, making a total of 8 e-mails. I only subscribed to
both bugs once, and I'm not subscribed to the PTS for udev, nor am I a
maintainer for it. Attached are all of the closure messages I received,
in gzipped mbox format for your enjoyment.
