Hi, Just wanted to notice that I used to see the behaviour mentioned in #593917 (guake using much CPU and being generally slow to respond to keypresses). It seems to have been fixed magically by some upgrade or other. I can't pinpoint exactly when because I had somewhat reverted to using terminals rather than guake, I'm afraid.
