Please, don't mix up bugs, it's already hard enough to follow; this problem (ofpath not finding /proc/scsi/scsi) has nothing to do with this bug (#580455). It's about #589701. BTW, I'm merging this bug with #587290, agreeing with Ben Hutchings.
