Unfortunately python-gtk2_2.17.0-4 requires dozens of other packages to upgrade. I don't plan to change my system to sqeeze.... Yet. :) I tried to upgrade some packages in a chrooted snapshot environment step-by-step but I lost in the maze. IMHO if you specify a minimal version number in dependencies you cannot be wrong.
