Package: netpbm
Version: 2:10.0-12.2+b1
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

recently upstream has added the -truetransparent option to ppmtowinicon which
is quite useful when you create icons with transparency starting from png
images.

The man page (http://netpbm.sourceforge.net/doc/ppmtowinicon.html) describes
that, by making black the part of the image which is going to be transparent
one avoids the "reverse video effect" in the transparent area, you can see this
effect in Windows when you click on the object which shows with that icon.

Maybe updating to recent upstream can be done tool by tool incrementally?

Thanks,
