I was thinking of the way to improve Quick Connect menus as suggested
for some time. And here's the idea in my mind:
1. There's one single menu item to open new connection profile dialog.
2. Initially, the dialog shows "Quick Connect" in its "Name" field and
have "Group" field and "Save" button disabled. If user leaves the name
as it is, it will not be saved and will operate as temporary connection.
3. Once the user changes the "Name" field, the dialog should enable
"Group" field and "Save" button, so it becomes a profile that is going
to be saved.
Let me know what you think, but I think this should achieve what you
suggested and it does not lose any feature.
Now the question: should we still call this menu item "Edit->New"?
