Thanks for the bug report. On 18 August, I forwarded it upstream[0]. Alas, it seems we have just had an upstream bugfix release which doesn't provide a fix for your import bug. I will make some fuss upstream to see what can be done. Hopefully, this will be fixed for 0.9.6.4 or 0.9.7.
