Package: gridengine-exec
Version: 6.2u5-1
Severity: normal

Hi,

I've got a running SGE cluster. If I stop sge_execd on one of the clients
(after creating /var/run/gridengine-execd.pid, so that the init script
can actually stop the process -- cf. #560735), then remove that host from
the group of execution hosts, then try to start sge_execd again, I get the
following error message in /tmp/execd_messsages.PID:

: 10/01/2010 14:11:38| main|00-16-3e-00-00-15|E|getting configuration: denied:
host "00-16-3e-00-00-15.alma.grid" is neither submit nor admin host
: 10/01/2010 14:11:43| main|00-16-3e-00-00-15|C|can't get configuration
qmaster - terminating

If I put 00-16-3e-00-00-15.alma.grid back into the group of execution
hosts, sge_execd starts can be started without any error. So it's pretty
clear that the problem inducing the quoted error message has nothing to do
with the host not being a submit or an admin host: it never is.

Please fix the error message and/or my misunderstanding.
