Package: electric-fence
Version: 2.1.16
Severity: important

According to POSIX, free() may be called on memory allocated by
posix_memalign(), but Electric Fence doesn't catch the posix_memalign
and therefore kills the program when the free happens. See attached
ef_memalign_20101012.c; compile the program with and without -lefence
to observe this in action.
