Hi Wolfi, As with the other python-* dependency related bugs, this has been fixed in Ubuntu by bumping python-lxml, python-numpy, python-uniconvertor to "Recommends". I think this would be acceptable in Debian too, given that Debian Policy implies that the "Recommends" field should be used for packages which are required to enable common features of an application.
