Package: initng Version: 0.1.8-1 I just tested initng on a LTSP thin client based on debian/sarge after rebuilding from source, and the boot did not succeed. I hoped to speed up the thin client boot time. :)
It got to this point before it started printing the last statement over and over: Configuring system to use udev waiting for /dev/zero to appere waiting for /dev/zero to appere waiting for /dev/zero to appere waiting for /dev/zero to appere waiting for /dev/zero to appere As I was booting with kernel 2.4.27-2-386, which only support devfs and not udev, I was surprised to see that it tried to enable udev. Any idea how to get this working with a 2.4 kernel? PS: 'appere' must be a typo. I suspect it should read 'appear' -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
