Hello,

I have asked about this on xrdp mailing list. Unfortunately, the fix
seems pretty hard to get. Here is the explanation.

I think, that this one will be very hard to fix, since MSTSC V6 sends this
irregular Ctrl_L when pressing Alt-Gr on german keyboards, which we have to
neutralize to get basic Alt-Gr-Keys working.

And AFAIK there's no way to distinguish between a Ctrl_L send by "real" left
Control-Key, and the one send "irregulary" by Alt-Gr-Key. Unfortunately
there's also no double Ctrl_L event when pressing Ctrl_L first and then Alt-Gr.

Only workaround, that I've found, is to press Alt-Gr first, then left Ctrl and
then the key you need (in this case '9' to get Ctrl-]) but I admit, that this
is very annoying as it is against "normal" typing.

Maybe someone will have an idea to fix it but I'm not in good hope for that.

kind regards
Andreas
