Yes, seeing if a redirection actually leads to a video would be nice. I
have not read the URL parsing code of youtube-dl, but I will try to see
what I can do.
It's just an unfortunate situation that such a URL may point to a
malicious site and I have very little practice with writing secure web
applications.
