Package: bash
Version: 4.0-4
Severity: normal

On a freshly installed debian squeeze, add some color in bash prompt with:
export PS1='\e[0;31m\u\...@\h:\w\$ '

Once the new colorized prompt appears, type a command larger than the space
available after the prompt. For example, hold the "a" key: 10 characters
before the end of the line, the "a" letters start to overwrite the prompt.
Then, the first line is totally overwritten, this time to the end, and
eventually a new line is started.

This bug does not occur with the default PS1.
