libwx_gtk2u_media was deliberately removed from libwxgtk2.8-0 in version 2.8.10.1-1 to close bug #493090 (libwxgtk2.8-0: unwanted dependency on libgconf). It really should have been moved to its own package. Just because nothing in Debian uses a part of a package doesn't mean no users do.
