But, using my test program as stand-alone, the socket is AF_INET6

$ ncat -6 ::ffff:127.0.0.1 1942
Address family 10.
Incoming address is ::ffff:127.0.0.1.

Please note that i put:
flags = IPv6
on the xinetd conf file for the service, so for me this means that the socket 
should be IPv6.

Man file (man xinetd.conf): Sets the service to be an IPv6 service (AF_INET6), 
if IPv6 is available on the system.

So i suppose there is something strange with the socket coming from xinetd.
