"Missing conflicts / breaks" is seveiry serious.
Feel free to verify that nm+dhcdbd from stable work fine with dhcp3-client but break with dhcp4-client. In that case, file a bug against dhcp4-client or let me know, and I'll reopen and reassign this bug. Michael
