I think it would be better that in the absence of IPv6 it should fall
back to IPv4. Unless IPv6-only is actually a -feature-, in which case I
guess this is really just a documentation bug. :P
It doesn't look like a feature; it's just a broken implementation.
FYI, on systems using net.ipv6.bindv6only=1 the program opens a single
IPv6-only socket. :/
