Package: libparse-debianchangelog-perl Version: 1.1.1-2.1 Severity: minor Dear Frank,
With URLs flanked by ‘<’ and ‘>’ signs, the ‘greater than’ sign provokes parsing bug, where the three first characters of the ‘>’ entity are added to the URL, and the last one (the semicolon) is added after the closing anchor tag. Here is an example from the imagej changelog (1.44c-3) * Team upload, see <http://bugs.debian.org/600997>. becomes: <pre> * Team upload, see <<a href="http://bugs.debian.org/600997>">http://bugs.debian.org/600997></a>;. You can see this on line: http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/i/imagej/current/changelog I also have confirmed the bug locally.
