Package: amanda-server Version: 1:3.1.0-1 Severity: grave Justification: causes non-serious data loss
For the past few days all my dumps for volumes residing on the server machine show an empty level 0 dump. I am using GNUTAR. This has been observed with tar 1.25-1 and tar 1-25-2. Dump volumes from remote and samba clients are still backing up OK. -- System Information: Debian Release: squeeze/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages amanda-server depends on: ii amanda-common 1:3.1.0-1 Advanced Maryland Automatic Networ ii bsd-mailx [mailx] 8.1.2-0.20100314cvs-1 simple mail user agent ii libc6 2.11.2-7 Embedded GNU C Library: Shared lib ii libglib2.0-0 2.24.2-1 The GLib library of C routines ii libncurses5 5.7+20100313-4 shared libraries for terminal hand ii libreadline6 6.1-3 GNU readline and history libraries amanda-server recommends no packages.
